Remember when I said that the only thing really holding back the burgeoning industry to replace the piston engine was design, speed, and the ability to haul heavy loads?

Well here’s a manufacturer that’s addressing design and speed.  They’re releasing the Tesla roadster beginning in 2007.  Right now it’s $85k, but give it a few years….
